At the center of EcoPlatform™ is a persistent record of the physical building that evolves as the building changes.

What the building is.

The Living Building Record™ organizes structured information about the property, including its identity, physical characteristics, systems, equipment, utilities, operating conditions, documents, deficiencies, previous improvements, photographs, and other relevant building information.

What the building becomes.

When conditions change or an improvement is completed, the record changes with the building. New equipment, completed projects, inspections, verification, documentation, and updated operating information become part of the continuing record.

Institutional memory for the physical asset.

Each subsequent decision begins with what is already known, instead of requiring the building to start over.

RetroCore™ is the implementation layer. Approved improvements move from recommendation into execution, inspection, verification, and completion. The resulting changes are then returned to the Living Building Record™.
